Bill Bates played college football at the University of Tennessee where he was second team All-SEC as a junior and senior.
Schnellenberger has been part of four collegiate national championships. His 1983 Miami Hurricanes won the school's first title, defeating Nebraska in the 50th Orange Bowl.
